About DreamCatcher Feline
Rescue

We believe that spaying and neutering is the best way

to reduce the number of cats that end up in shelters

or on the streets, and we work to promote this through TNR partnerships.

Our ultimate goal is to help limit animal overpopulation

and educate the public about this critical issue. Thank

you for your support in our mission to save cats in need.

One of the ways DreamCatcher Feline Rescue helps our communities control their cat over-population problem is through our intake program.  Throughout the year, we receive calls from several animal shelters we partner with.  Most animal shelters and humane societies are not well equipped to provide the extra care and low-stress environment needed for nursing cats to thrive and become adoptable pets. We assist them by intaking cats with nursing litters.  This not only helps to relieve a shelter's excess capacity, but provides the extra time, care, and medical attention these animals need before they can be placed in permanent homes.

In addition to working with local shelters, we assist several Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) organizations and community cat programs by taking in cats with nursing litters and abandoned kittens found during trapping.  We provide the extra time, care, and medical attention they need. We ensure our cats and kittens are up-to-date on vaccines, are spayed or neutered, as well as microchipped, prior to being made available for adoption.

At DreamCatcher Feline Rescue, we are passionate

about rescuing and meeting the needs of cats with nursing litters, as well as abandoned kittens.

Adopt

The quickest way to set up a meet and greet for one of our cats or kittens is to fill out a short  Adoption Application form and submit it.  An adoption coordinator will review it and call you to set up a time for you to come to the rescue to meet our cats and kittens.

If you decide to adopt, we will review our adoption agreement with you, which you will be asked to sign. You can then pay the adoption fee and take your new family member home!

Remember that adopting a kitten or cat is a life-time commitment. Please make sure you and your family are prepared for this responsibility.
